SONGS ON THE WIND: Gale Jamieson & Francisco Loza
On view thru May 28 @ Creative Alliance
In the center of the gallery, a grove of trees and a nearby stump reveal themselves to be made of magazines. On the walls nearby, “paintings” made of brilliant yarn contain swirls of imagery: trees, animals, and glimpses of contemporary life. Artists Gale Jamieson and Francisco Loza jointly explore concepts of spirituality, nature, culture and craft, asking questions that are as timeless as they are urgent.
